My Story

At the age of 21, I was diagnosed with the debilitating autoimmune condition Crohn’s disease, as well as ulcerative colitis. After five years of suffering with this, I weighed just 57kg - less than 9 stone.
Doctors gave me the option of surgery to remove my small and large intestine, which would involve high doses of steroids and immune suppressants. This was balanced distressingly against a 50/50 chance of dying within a year if I refused.
I took responsibility for my own health by reading book after book about the human body and mind, which led me to trying every natural supplement and diet available, but my condition only worsened.
Then a trip to Australia changed my life forever.
